Logaras Beach is a popular area on the island's southeastern coast, yet it maintains a notably calm and human feel even during high summer. Its waters are crystal clear with a gentle slope, making it exceptionally well suited for families with children and less confident swimmers. The bay is somewhat protected on northerly Meltemi wind days, which contributes to its tranquil conditions. The beachfront is lined with traditional Greek tavernas serving fresh seafood right by the water, offering an ideal setting for long, lazy swims and slow lunches. The beach is partly organized with sunbeds and umbrellas for rent, but there are also free areas and natural shade from tamarisk trees.
